Film of Oslo

The Opera HouseThe Opera House

Have you overcome your jet lag yet? My internal time clock is still a bit off, but we'll be sorted out in another day or two. We walked all over the central part of this city today;  and as a reward we had ice cream for lunch. If you want to know what we had for dinner you'll have to watch the movie I have made. It's not my best work... but it's definitely my quickest. I really hope you enjoy it, and can get a sense for the city and the people that live here. My suspicion is that you will find them to be very familiar.

Analogous to the Mali, Africa trip, we have started this journey in a city. And we will be working our way to smaller, less populated destinations as we go along. Next stop: Bergen, considered to be the most beautiful city in Norway. We've a few surprises planned...

It won't upload Sad. Maybe I need to be more patient? That is not a virtue of mine lol

Re: Film of Oslo

I really want to watch the video, but Youtube won't let me! It says it's a private video! Doahnshem couldn't view it either. Arghhhhhhh!!!!

Re: Film of Oslo

Think maybe the native trolls are messing with the film viewing?  Have you met the Swedish Chef yet?  Oh, fresh lingonberries, fresh cloudberries, clean and crisp fjord water.  Hope you find a joiker soon (no not a joker.........a joiker).  Jeg elske deg, Doahnshem

Re: Film of Oslo

Can't watch your video. Caption saying we need to accept the senders friend request. ???

Re: Film of Oslo - now working

I've set the video to public, so it should work for everyone now Smile

Re: Film of Oslo - now working

Thank you Ben, you are doing a terrific job with Deb's website.

Re: Film of Oslo

Deb,
It's so great to be in Oslo with you. It's so beautiful.  I won't tell Tammy we had ice cream for lunch ; )   Can't wait to see what's next.

Kathy

PS My boys want to know if they speak english in Oslo

Re: Film of Oslo

Hi Kathy,  Yes... Thank goodness they DO speak English, but not as their first language.  For the most part all I hear is Norwegian.
PS, I had ice cream again tonight.  But we've been doing a lot of walking Wink

Re: Film of Oslo

Hi Doahnshem, will probably see the joiker tomorrow! And the eating is becoming very adventurous- I think I did see the Swedish Chef and eat her creation!! Will be writing about that tonight Smile
